The high elevation found in the Nariño mountains, along with the volcanic soil from Galeras volcano, and sunlight pattern due to its proximity to the Equator line, makes this terroir one of the most prominent for sourcing unique Colombian coffee. The coffee harvested in the Nariño state is well-known for its high density and granulometry, with a flavour marked by balanced acidity and complex notes.
